Who Should Attend:
Those responsible for planning and scheduling an internal audit program for PS Prep Programs (ASIS SPC.1, BS25999-2, NFPA 1600) and those who must perform audits to any of the PS Prep Standards, Resilience Managers, Emergency Preparedness Team members, Quality Assurance Managers, Quality professionals, ISO Project Managers, ISO Project Team Members or anyone desiring an understanding of ASIS SPC.1, BS25999-2, NFPA 1600 and DHS Resilience requirements.
Course Objectives:
- Understand and successfully interpret the PS Prep Program (ASIS SPC.1, BS25999-2, NFPA 1600) Organizational Resilience requirements
- Conduct an Internal Audit to the PS Prep (Organizational Resilience Management System Standards)
- Plan, manage, and schedule an Internal Resilience Audit program
- Develop a cost-effective and compliant Internal Audit system
- Qualify additional staff to conduct Internal Resilience Audits
- Provide critical knowledge for your staff and management
- Gain insight into PS Prep Program (ASIS SPC.1, BS25999-2, NFPA 1600) requirements to augment/sustain any existing program
- Gain knowledge to help manage a successful PS Prep Program
- Document and define your PS Prep Program
- Implement, design and complete a successful PS Prep Program (ASIS SPC.1, BS25999-2, NFPA 1600) project
- Ask audit questions that get results

Day One
- Terminology and Definitions
- Background, History and Rationale for Organizational Resilience
- Analysis of the Contents of all three requirements accepted by the U.S. DHS (ASIS SPC.1, BS25999-2, NFPA 1600) PS Prep Criteria
- Conduct a practical Resilience Audit – Classroom Activity (Audit #1)
Day Two
- Out brief and Review the results of Audit #1
- Planning and Conducting Effective Audits
- Refining Interview and Note-Taking Skills
- The audit checklists and audit planning
- Preparation for a "role play" PS Prep audit
- Conduct a successful Organizational Resilience audit (Audit #2] and develop well written audit evidence
Day Three
- Management of a PS Prep program
- The role of Corrective and Preventive Action as part of Continual Improvement within the Organizational Resilience Management System
- Preparation for Organizational Resilience Audit #3
- Practical Exercise – conducting an audit to Organizational Resilience criteria and company Organizational Resilience documents
- Preparation and Presentation of a Closing Meeting
